4. News Cards - Action
In all 'Action News Cards', the upper left side icons mean card's request, and the upper right side icons mean card's action.
Campaign
This card can only be used during a bidding war or during the purchase of a Market Share that requires a Campaign (Media or Politics).
During a bidding war, this card accords a bonus to the bidder (Each Campaign Card awards the bidder 2BP per Media Market shares that player holds).
One can present more than one Campaign for the same bid.

In order to use the Campaign for a purchase, the player may display the card at the News Phase and save it for use in the Purchase Phase, or display and use a previously saves card (via Media or Politics benefits) at the Purchase Phase. Banking Phase is played as usual.
A player with Media Market Shares and has 2 Campaign Cards can play one cars during the News Phase and another at the Purchase Phase. In case a player holds 2 Politics Shares and no Media Market Shares, that player may use 2 Campaign Cards at the same time.
That is vital for purchasing the 3rd Politics or Media Shares.

Reform Cancellation
This card is played on the News Phase. It cancels any one existing Reform Card on the board.

Cancel Suspected Criminal Activity
This card is played the News Phase. It cancels one Suspected Criminal Activity on the board, and thus flipping the Share Token back to the Share side.
A Player may use this card on his\her own corporation, or on another player as a part of a deal.

Cancel Corruption Exposed
This Card may be displayed immediately when an opponent draws the ‘Exposure of Corruption’ card, in order to cancel the exposure. Both cards are then discarded.
The card may be used for another player, as a part of a deal.

Additional Purchase
This card is displayed on the News Phase. It enables one more purchase on the same turn, a total of 2. It can be passed to another player as a part of a deal.
If the card of Additional Purchase is played as the News Card, the player will first complete the Banking Phase, and then perform both purchases during the Purchase Phase.

Additional Purchase for Owners of Market Share in Politics
This card is displayed on the News Phase and can be used only by players with Market Share in Politics. It enables 2 more purchase on the same turn, a total of 3. It can be passed to another player as a part of a deal.
If the card of Additional Purchase is played as the News Card, the player will first complete the Banking Phase, and then perform both purchases during the Purchase Phase.

+ 2 Points
This card is displayed on the News Phase and can be used only by players with a Market Share in Politics. The card advances the player by 2 points on the Influence Score Track. After being played, the card remains displayed face-up next to the player’s money. If, later on, the player loses all his/her Market shares in Politics, that player will also lose this card and the points it awarded will be deducted from the influence Score Track.

+ 3 Points on Payment of 3 Billion
This card is displayed on the News Phase and can be used only by players with a Market Share in Politics. The card costs 3 BGD to activate, and it advances the player by 3 points on the Influence Score Track. After being played, the card remains displayed face-up next to the player’s money. If, later on, the player loses all his/her Market shares in Politics, that player will also lose this card and the points it awarded will be deducted from the influence Score Track.
